On our walks and other events, we often take photos, which we may then publish on our website, and on occasions we may send these to the local newspaper. We do not, as a rule, identify individuals on these photographs. However, occasionally this may be done for small groups, as newspapers like to have names for these. In that case, we would ask permission from each person to allow their name to be published.
Photos of children on walks or events would only be published with the explicit permission of their parent or guardian.
Walk leaders and event organisers are named on our walk program, together with their phone numbers. Committee members are also named on our web site and paper programmes.
Email addresses are generally not published, except for the group email address
