14 people came on a 10.5 miles walk starting from Hornby in the Lunedale Valley. We missed the 1st mile as weather was predicted heavy rain but it stayed dry for most of the day with a short burst of drizzle. We walked from Hornby and headed north across the river Wenning and along the Lune to outskirts of Melling and then into Wrayton for the lunch stop at Wennington. Then into Village of Wray to see the scarecrow festival before returning back to Hornby.
