In hot, dry conditions, but with a welcome cooling breeze, Alan Pilling led a group of 9 walkers on an 11 mile circular walk from Skirethorns across Threshfield Moor to Lainger Beck for the morning break before continuing to Weets Top for the lunch break. The return route followed The Dales High Way trail to Winterburn Reservoir before turning north east back to Skirethorns via Hamerton Hill. Fortunately, the forecast of thunderstorms didn't happen during the walk . After the walk, the group went to The Craven Heifer for drinks.
