In dry, sunny but muddy conditions Mike Lee led a group of 15 walkers on a 10 mile walk largely on high moorland on the Western fringes of Rossendale. The route summary was Helmshore, Musbury Tor, Bull Hill, the newly paved causeway over Wet Moss, Whowell Height, Causeway Height, Musbury Heights Quarry, Calf Hey Reservoir, Holden Wood Reservoir and back to Helmshore. The group stopped at Musbury Heights Quarry for lunch and after the walk, some of the group went to The Robin Hood Pub for drinks.
